An old post that fell through the cracks in 2008.
So almost immediately following our engagement I got the feeling we needed to leave LA. We took some time to take it all in and give Los Angeles a chance to plead it's case to us. As the first months of marriage played out it became obvious to both of us that perhaps we should not force a life in LA when it just wasn't feeling like our home anymore.
As bittersweet as it is to leave a place where Lori grew up and I adventured through my 20's, sometimes you are just meant to be somewhere else. Home is a tricky term. I call home the place where you feel called to. Right now, that place is Salt Lake City, Utah.
